Osaka is an attractive and traditional city in Japan, located about 400km west of Tokyo. With a population of approximately 2.8 million as of 2024, it is the largest city on the Kansai region which is the second-largest metropolitan area after Tokyo. In Osaka, many famous companies and research institutes that boast the world’s highest level of technology are integrated, and there is also a variety of abundant cultural and tourism resources such as Osaka Castle, Universal Studios, etc.
In the spotlight around the world, "Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai" whose theme is "Designing Future Society for Our Lives" will also be held on the artificial island "Yumeshima" in Osaka Bay during the Colloquium.
The venue for the Colloquium is "Osaka International Convention Center" which is located about 15 minutes by city bus from Osaka station and 60 minutes from Kansai International Airport to the Osaka Station by limousine bus.
