EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan
Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan runs for 184 days from April 13th, 2025. This tour will focus on the Kansai Electric Power Group Pavilion, "Electric Power Pavilion - Eggs of Possibilities" located in the East Area of the Expo, and will introduce projects related to the Kansai Electric Power Group.
Meeting Point
In front of the East Gate Entrance of the Kansai Expo 2025.
Access: A short walk from Yumeshima Station on the Osaka Metro Chūō Line.
Our staff will be present at the meeting point with a clearly visible sign featuring the CIGRE SC B5 2025 Osaka Colloquium logo.

Tour Schedule
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Meeting Time: 8:50 AM (We kindly request that you arrive on time.)
The tour will conclude with a dismissal within the Expo site, allowing participants to explore the venue independently.
We are pleased to inform you that, thanks to the strong interest and high number of registrations, we have secured an additional reservation slot for the Electric Power Pavilion. Accordingly, the schedule has been revised, and participants will be divided into three groups. Each group will have a designated meeting time, which will be communicated to you in due course.
Furthermore, your group assignment and the QR code required for Expo entry will be printed on the back of your name badge. Kindly ensure that you bring your name badge with you on the day and gather at the designated meeting location at the specified time.
Please be advised that, due to the anticipated large crowds on Sunday at the Expo, participants who arrive late for their assigned meeting time will unfortunately not be able to join another group. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
- Group A: Meeting at 9:00 AM, dismissal at 12:00 PM
- Group B: Meeting at 10:00 AM, dismissal at 1:00 PM
- Group C: Meeting at 11:00 AM, dismissal at 2:00 PM
Important Information
- The participation fee is included in the colloquium registration fee.
- We recommend wearing comfortable footwear suitable for walking.
- Please be aware that the venue is expected to be crowded. Kindly follow the instructions of the staff to ensure a smooth experience.
- It is not possible to move between the East Gate and the West Gate without passing through the Expo venue. Therefore, we strongly recommend using the Osaka Metro Chūō Line to Yumeshima Station to access the East Gate.
- Shuttle buses and taxis generally arrive at the West Gate, so please avoid using these modes of transportation to ensure you arrive at the correct meeting point.
- Large luggage is not permitted inside the Expo. We recommend utilizing coin lockers available at nearby stations or storing your belongings at your accommodation.
- For questions related to luggage storage, please note that the Secretariat is unable to respond to such inquiries. Kindly refer to the official Kansai Expo website or other official sources for further details.
Electric Power Pavilion -Eggs of Possibilities
Looking beyond carbon neutrality, the Electric Power Pavilion depicts the future of society from the unique perspective of the electric power industry supporting the foundation of society.
By experiencing the many "Eggs of Possibilities" of energy, visitors to the pavilion can feel how "new energy possibilities will pioneer a brighter future".
Bus Stop/Power Visualization
The project aims to realise the Expo 2025 Green Vision by using visual equipment to provide information that evokes a future society and energy to a wide range of visitors.
We would like to invite you to visit the electric bus stop that was built by The Kansai Electric Power Company, Incorporated. The purpose of this visit is to give visitors an idea of the future society.
At the electric bus stop at the venue, visitors will have the opportunity to watch a video presentation and view other displays. These displays will provide information about what the future society could be like, with a focus on energy.
Electric Buses that automatically power themselves while running
The Electric Buses for Visitor Mobility are state of the art, with a fleet of approximately 100 vehicles.
In addition, new technologies such as Level 4 automated driving and in-transit power supply will be integrated to conduct a large-scale demonstration not seen anywhere else.
We plan to offer tours focusing on electric buses and dynamic charging, utilizing displays at the bus stop.
